On the obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark together with inscriptions including the coin's denomination '1 DOLLAR', year of issue and its weight together with the purity of the silver shown as '1oz 9999 Ag'. The initials ‘JC’ are included within the design.
