Casa de Moneda de Mexico

The Casa de Moneda de México is Mexico’s official mint and was founded in 1535. It is the oldest mint in the Americas, originally established by order of the Spanish Crown.

Today, it is responsible for producing Mexico’s circulation and commemorative coins, including the internationally recognized “Libertad” bullion coins in gold and silver. Casa de Moneda operates under the direction of the Banco de México and adheres to strict quality and security standards.

In addition to coins, it also produces medals, awards, and collectibles, and offers products through its own stores and online shop for collectors.
