The obverse of the Vienna Philharmonic 1 oz Gold Coin 2025 showcases the majestic Great Organ in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, home to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Alongside this intricate depiction, the coin features the inscription “REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH” (Republic of Austria), along with details of its weight, purity and year of issue. The face value of 100 euros is also displayed as the coin is recognised as legal tender.

The reverse of the coin features a detailed arrangement of musical instruments, including a cello, four violins, a bassoon, a harp and a Viennese horn, all symbolising the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The inscription reads “WIENER PHILHARMONIKER” (Vienna Philharmonic).

The Vienna Philharmonic 1 oz Gold Coin 2025 contains 1 troy ounce of 999.9/1000 fine gold which is equivalent to 31.10 grams of 24 karat gold. It measures 37.00 mm in diameter and is 2.00 mm thick.
