Design
The new design for 2018 depicts a mother and baby swan swimming on top of the water. The inscription around the outer edge reads “THE 1 oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN SWAN GOLD”. The letter “P” is engraved to the left of the swan.
The value side of the coin depicts a right side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The initials “IRB” appear below the motif of the Queen and stand for artist Ian-Rank Broadley. The inscriptions around the outer edge are the name of the regent “ELIZABETH II”, the country of origin “AUSTRALIA”, the date of issue “2018” and the nominal value of “100 Dollars”.
