The reverse of the American Eagle ¼ oz Gold Coin 2024 showcases Jennie Norris’s beautiful depiction of the head of a bald eagle. It includes the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST". The weight and face value of 10 dollars are also displayed along with the words “FINE GOLD”.
The obverse features Lady Liberty striding forwards, holding a torch and an olive branch, with a backdrop of the rays of the sun and the US Capitol building in the distance. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed above. The year of issue "2024" is shown to the right.
The American Eagle ¼ oz Gold Coin 2024 contains a quarter of a troy ounce of 916/1000 gold, with a metric fine weight of 7.78 grams. It measures 22.00 mm in diameter and has a thickness of 1.78 mm. The American Eagle bullion coin is available in weights of 1 oz, ½ oz and 1/10 oz in gold and 1 oz in silver.
