Named after the famous Vienna Philharmonic orchestra, founded in 1842 and known to be one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world. It is produced by Münze Österreich AG and both the obverse and reverse images are easily recognisable across the globe with a number of the orchestra instruments displayed on the reverse and the famous organ from Vienna’s Golden Hall on the obverse.
