The obverse presents the portrait of King Charles III, first introduced by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2024. His dignified profile and the fine engraving of each line express continuity and elegance. Around the portrait runs the inscription “CHARLES III – D.G. REX – CANADA,” a Latin reference to his royal title.
The reverse features the maple leaf, Canada’s national symbol, rendered with crisp veins and perfect symmetry. Above the motif appears the inscription “CANADA,” while below, the purity and weight “FINE GOLD 1/10 oz OR PUR” confirm the coin’s authenticity and quality, expressed here as “1/10 oz fine gold.”
