The tiger is shown on the reverse of the Lunar III Tiger ¼ oz Gold Coin 2022 standing on a rock bearing its teeth. The word ‘TIGER’ is inscribed with the Chinese character representing the tiger above it and the year of issue below.
The obverse displays Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and includes the weight, purity, and face value of 25 AUD in the coin’s legend.
The Lunar III Tiger ¼ oz Gold Coin 2022 has a purity of 999.9/1000 and a gross metric weight of 7.78 grams. It has a diameter of 20.60 mm and a thickness of 2.30 mm. It is also available in weights of 2oz, 1oz, ½ oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz in gold. The silver version of the Lunar III Tiger 2022 is available in weights of 10 kilos, 1 kilo, 5oz, 2oz, 1oz and ½ oz.
