The beautifully crafted image of an adult kangaroo is shown on the reverse of the 1/10 oz Gold Coin 2021. Designed by Natasha Muhl for the Perth Mint it includes their mintmark, 'P'. The words 'AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO' are displayed with the weight, year and purity.
The obverse includes Jody Clark’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination of 15 Australian dollars.
The Australian Kangaroo 1/10 oz Gold Coin 2021 contains one tenth of a troy ounce of gold and has a purity of 999.9/1000. The metric weight is 3.11 grams and it measures 16.60 mm in diameter with a thickness of 1.50 mm. The 2021 gold coin is also available in weights of 1 oz, ½ oz and ¼ oz and there is a 1 oz silver version too.
