Design
To celebrate the “Year of the Goat” the front side of the coin depicts a Lunar Goat gazing to the left. The engravings are the fine weight, purity, year of issue and the Chinese character for “Goat”.
The reverse shows a right side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The inscriptions read “ELIZABETH II”, “AUSTRALIA” and “15 DOLLARS”.
