The reverse side shows the portrait of young Queen Elizabeth II with diadem, earring and necklace. The portrait of the queen was designed by artist Raphael Maklouf. The inscriptions around the outer edge are “ELIZABETH II”, “AUSTRALIA” and “25 DOLLARS”.
