🇨🇭 Valcambi 2025 – 100 × 1 g CombiBar® Silver – Flexible Fine Silver in Clear Structure
The Valcambi CombiBar® with 100 × 1 g silver from the year 2025 presents a modern form of precious-metal bar, in which the classic appearance of a larger bar is combined with the flexibility of individual, detachable units. At first glance, the calm, rectangular overall surface appears like a single, closed piece of silver, whose even shine and finely satin-like texture emphasize the metal in its pure form. Only upon closer inspection does the clear structure reveal itself: one hundred small, precisely separated segments, each weighing one gram and fully minted as its own miniature bar.
The obverse of each segment bears the typical indications of the refinery: 1 g, 999 silver, and the Valcambi logo, which remains clearly recognizable in its geometric form. This consistent repetition creates an orderly, harmonious overall appearance that makes the precision of the Swiss refinery particularly visible. The engravings are finely and clearly executed, allowing both the individual pieces and the entire CombiBar® to maintain their calm, factual aesthetic.
A distinctive feature of the CombiBar® lies in its fine predetermined breaking structure. The lines separating the segments are engineered so that the bar can be cleanly divided when needed, without affecting the surface quality of the individual pieces. This functionality remains discreet and barely noticeable visually. The large silver piece appears closed, orderly, and cohesive until its divisibility is intentionally used.
The reverse shows a smooth, uninterrupted silver surface that lends the metal depth and tranquility. The even play of light across this surface forms a calm contrast to the structured obverse. The balance between a unified form and the ability to separate individual units is a characteristic feature of the CombiBar® concept.
Silver has a long tradition as a metal of clarity and consistency. In the form of a 100-gram CombiBar®, it gains a modern expression: flexible, structured, and yet united in a single surface that preserves the natural beauty of the precious metal. The finely proportioned segments convey handy precision, while the overall piece radiates the quiet value of a classic bar.
The Valcambi 100 × 1 g CombiBar® Silver unites modern refining technology with a clear, reduced design language. It presents fine silver in a form that is both aesthetically balanced and functionally well-conceived — an expression of Swiss minting artistry, shaped by order, calmness, and structured precious metal in its pure form.
