The Valcambi 100 × 1 g gold bar sheet of the year 2025 combines the calm aesthetics of a classic gold bar with the special structure of a modular composite. At first glance, the piece appears like a closed, harmoniously proportioned gold sheet, whose even surface and fine lines highlight the warm glow of the precious metal. Only upon closer inspection does the characteristic construction reveal itself: a connected unit of one hundred precisely defined individual bars, each containing one gram of fine gold.
Each segment bears the clear markings of 1 g, 999.9 gold, as well as the geometrically shaped Valcambi logo. This consistent repetition creates an orderly, calm overall appearance that makes the precision craftsmanship of the Swiss refinery visible. The engravings are fine and carefully executed, allowing both the individual gram bars and the entire sheet to maintain their simple elegance.
The fine predetermined breaking lines between the segments are engineered so that the bar sheet can be cleanly divided when needed. Despite this functionality, the unit appears closed and calm — the divisibility remains visually discreet and does not overshadow the harmonious impression of the complete bar.
