Valcambi SA was founded in 1961 in Balerna and was acquired by Credit Suisse in 1967; in the same year it received LBMA certification for gold, later also for other metals.
Since 2015, Valcambi has been part of the Rajesh Exports Group and operates one of the world’s largest refineries with an annual capacity of around 2,000 t.
Its product range includes cast and minted bars, CombiBars™, medals, coins, and semi-finished products.
Valcambi holds multiple certifications (including ISO 9001 and LBMA) and offers sustainable product lines such as Fairtrade and Fairmined gold.
