Manufacture and Appearance
Heraeus 500g gold bars are cast. The production process starts with melting an exact amount of fine gold granules at a temperature of over 1064 degrees. In the next step, the liquid is poured into a bar form where the gold is cooled. During the embossing process, the fine weight of 500g, fineness of 999.9/1000, precious metal detail, manufacturer name and logo are imprinted. Subsequently, the gold ingot is checked for fine weight and quality and then packaged.
