The here offered Vienna Philharmonic 1oz silver coins consist of different years. We receive these silver coins for purchase from secure storage or circulation. Every single product is tested for authenticity. Unless otherwise specified in the short description, the coins are in mint-state condition. Appearance
The Silver Vienna Philharmonic has an edge bar and a smooth edge. The edge bar provides stability to the coin, improves stackability and protects the motif from damage. The appearance of the Vienna Philharmonic silver coin has remained unchanged since the first gold coin edition in 1989.
Motif side
The Silver Vienna Philharmonic is dedicated to the famous Austrian Philharmonic. On the motif page some instruments from the internationally renowned ensemble are shown. Among them are two violas, two violins, a harp, a bassoon, a horn and in the middle a large cello. Around the outer upper edge of the coin there is the eponymous legend "Wiener Philharmoniker" and the precious metal "silver".
Value side
The value page shows the organ from the large hall of the Wiener Musikverein. Below the organ is the the balcony on which it stands, and reaches to the edge of the coin. In addition, the official nominal value of 1.50 euros, the year, the weight "1 Unze Feinsilber" and the country of origin "Republik Osterreich" are inscripted. The motif was created by the chief engraver of Münze Österreich AG, Thomas Pesendorfer, and has not been changed since the first edition in 2008. Only the year on the value side changes.
