The reverse side shows an eagle soaring above its nest. Below is a female eagle with her hatchlings. “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” is engraved on the top outer edge. The fine weight, metal content and face value is below the motif and reads “½ OZ FINE GOLD 25 DOLLARS”.
