Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters reading on the top. They mean People's Republic of China. The year of issue „1988“ is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
A single panda is seen holding a bamboo branch. Under the Panda motif the nominal value of 25 Yuan can be read. Around the edge of the motif Chinese characters display size, 1/4, and metric purity „.999“ and „1/4 OZ Au“. To either side of the nominal value is a hollow centred flower motif to be seen.
