Obverse:
Showing The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvest within the Temple of Heaven Harvest Hall with bright sky at one side and darkened sky the other. Chinese characters meaning “People's Republic of China”. Year of issue “2005“ is shown at the base on the wider outer ring.
Reverse:
A mother panda sitting with its cub leaning on it whilst eating bamboo in a bamboo grove. At the base are shown the characters displaying the value “100” and Yuan sign. Above the panda cub on the rim are characters for size, “¼ oz”, metal “Au” and purity “.999”.
