With different panda designs every year since 1982 this coin is made of 99.9 pure gold. The 1/4 oz China Panda 1994 is issued in brilliant uncirculated quality.
Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters on top reading People's Republic of China is shown in an inner circle. The year of issue „1994“ is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
On a rock a panda is chewing on a bamboo branch from a clump of bamboo trees. Under the rock the nominal value of 25 Yuan can be read and behind the panda and around the edge of the coin are displayed “Au, 1/4oz” and „.999“.
