Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters are engraved in the obverse. The chinese character translate to People's Republic of China. The year of issue „1990“ is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
A single panda is seen holding a bamboo branch. Under the Panda motif the nominal value of 25 Yuan can be read. Around the edge of the motif Chinese characters display the size, 1/4, and metric purity „.999“ and „1/4 OZ Au.“. To either side of the 25 figure is a flower motif.
