There is also a micro-engraved maple leaf that is applied by laser technology and is an enhanced security feature.

The value side of the coin depicts a portrait of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The portrait of the Queen was created by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt. The Lettering around the outer edge reads “ELIZABETH II” “200 DOLLARS” and “2014”.

Wolves live in packs that average around 5 to 12 animals. They can travel long distances of 12 miles or more in a single day. The global grey wolf population is estimated to be approximately 300,000 wolves,  of which about 60,000 live in Canada.
