The obverse features a portrait of King Charles III without a crown.

The Maple Leaf 1/20 oz Gold Coin 2025 contains one twentieth of a troy ounce of fine gold with a purity of 999.9/1000. The equivalent metric weight is 1.55 grams. The coin measures 13.92 mm in diameter with a thickness of 0.63 mm. The face value is 2 Canadian dollars. It is also available in weights of 1 oz, ½ oz, ¼ oz and 1/10 oz in gold plus a MapleGram 25 x 1g gold pack and 1 oz in fine silver.
