The Maple Leaf ¼ oz Gold Coin 2025 portrays the famous, exquisitely detailed maple leaf design by Walter Ott on the reverse, enhanced with micro-engraving for security and authenticity.
The obverse of the coin displays a portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Steven Rosati.
Both sides of the coin have unique security features which include radial lines in the background of each image and Bullion DNA (TM) Anti‑Counterfeiting Technology.
The Maple Leaf ¼ oz Gold Coin 2025 contains a quarter of a troy ounce of fine gold with a purity of 999.9/1000. The equivalent metric weight is 7.78 grams. The coin measures 20.00 mm in diameter and has a face value of 10 Canadian dollars. It is also available in weights of 1 oz, ½ oz, 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz in gold plus a MapleGram 25 x 1g gold pack and 1 oz in fine silver.
