The reverse of the Lunar III Tiger ½ oz Gold Coin, designed by Monique Reeves, displays a fierce-looking tiger standing proudly on a rock. Additionally, this side of the coin features the inscription "TIGER 2022" along with the Chinese character representing the tiger positioned above it.
Jody Clark’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is displayed on the obverse together with the weight, purity, and face value of 50 AUD in the legend.
The coin is minted from half a troy ounce of fine gold with a purity of 999.9/1000 and has a gross metric weight of 15.55 grams. It has a diameter of 25.60 mm and a thickness of 2.19 mm. It is also available in weights of 2oz, 1oz, ¼ oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz in gold.
