Perth Mint

Encircling the scene are inscriptions of "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO," the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark, the year of release, and the coin's weight and purity.
The obverse displays Jody Clark’s low relief portrait of Queen Elizabeth II encircled with the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II”, “ AUSTRALIA" and the coin's monetary value of 50 dollars.
The coin contains half a troy ounce of 999.9/1000 pure gold and has a metric weight of 15.55 grams. It measures 25.60 mm in diameter with a thickness of 2.40 mm. The 2020 gold coin is also available in weights of 1 oz, ¼ oz and 1/10 oz.
