The Lunar III Mouse ½ oz Gold Coin 2020 is minted by the Perth Mint in Western Australia. The reverse of the coin displays the mouse clutching an ear of wheat and looking to the sky. The Chinese character for mouse is also displayed with the word ‘MOUSE’ underneath and the year 2020.
The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II together with the coin's weight, purity, and face value of 50 Australian Dollars inscribed in the legend. The portrait was created by British artist Jody Clark.
The Lunar III Mouse ½ oz Gold Coin 2020 contains half a troy ounce of gold with a purity of 999.9/1000. The coin has a gross metric weight of 15.55 grams, a diameter of 25.60 mm, and a thickness of 2.19 mm.
