The Reverse displays a right side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Below the motif of the Queen are the letters “IRB” which stand for Ian Rank Broadley, who designed the portrait.

The inscriptions along the outer edge includes the regent “Elizabeth II”, the country “Australia”, the nominal value “25 Dollars”, and the weight and fine content “1/4oz 9999 Gold”
