Design/Appearance
The 1991 coin features the side profile of a Kangaroo facing right, looking over its left shoulder, with the words ‘Grey Kangaroo’ inscribed below. Around the border of the coin is the engraving ‘The Australian Nugget’ along with the year, and weight.
The obverse of the coin features a right facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by sculptor Raphael Maklouf.
