Design/Appearance
Coins made in 1988, depending on the denomination, feature a different famous nugget. The name of the nugget is inscribed under the image, along with the date found, on the reverse of the coin.
This 1/2oz coin features the nugget ‘Hand of Faith’ which was found by a metal detector in 1980 in Kingower, Victoria.
The obverse features a right facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
