Design/Appearance
Coins made in 1986, depending on the denomination, feature a different famous nugget. The name of the nugget is inscribed on the reverse of the coin, under the image.
This ½ oz coin features the nugget ‘Hand of Faith’ which was found by a metal detector in 1980 in Kingower, Victoria.
The obverse features and effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
