The autogyro used in the film was created by Ken Wallis, a British aviator, and was based on his own designs. The scene featuring "Little Nellie" in "You Only Live Twice" showcases Bond using the autogyro to investigate a mysterious island in Japan. Despite its small size, "Little Nellie" proves to be highly manoeuvrable and formidable in combat, allowing Bond to successfully navigate dangerous situations and engage enemy aircraft.

The reverse of the coin includes “Little Nellie”, skilfully crafted by Royal Mint designer Christian Davies. The background includes a number of 1960s Bond film titles and the outer legend displays the micro-text ‘2024 BOND OF THE 60S ᐧ 1OZ 999 ᐧ FINE SILVER ᐧ ’.
Only 100,000 of the 1oz silver “Little Nellie” have been minted, the coin has a metric weight of 31.10 grams and a purity of 999/1000. It is 38.61 mm in diameter. “Little Nellie” is also available as a 1oz gold coin.
