"Little Nellie" is the nickname given to a compact autogyro featured in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice," released in 1967. In the film, it is used by James Bond, played by Sean Connery, and is given to him by Q, who is responsible for developing various gadgets and vehicles for MI6 agents.
The autogyro used in the film was created by Ken Wallis, a British aviator, and was based on his own designs. The scene featuring "Little Nellie" in "You Only Live Twice" showcases Bond using the autogyro to investigate a mysterious island in Japan. Despite its small size, "Little Nellie" proves to be highly manoeuvrable and formidable in combat, allowing Bond to successfully navigate dangerous situations and engage enemy aircraft.
