Krugerrand 1oz Gold Coin 1992
Rand Refinery
The Rand Refinery was the inventor of the standard 1oz investment gold coin. With the launch of the Krugerrand in 1967 it still produces the most well-known gold coin in the world today.
The 1 oz Krugerrand Gold coin was introduced in 1967 and has become one of the most successful gold bullion coin programs in the world. Over the last 50 years the Krugerrand has been minted in large quantities, however some yearly editions have been produced in smaller numbers.
The 1992 yearly issue had a mintage of just 1,803 coins. These limited mintage editions have been gaining in popularity with collectors.
