The Vienna Philharmonic coin, issued by the Austrian Mint, is a popular bullion coin. The obverse of the Vienna Philharmonic ½ oz Gold Coin 2024 showcases the Great Organ in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, the concert venue of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. It also bears the inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" along with the coin's weight, purity and year of issue. The monetary denomination is also displayed as “50 EURO” and the coin is recognised as legal tender.

The reverse features a collection of musical instruments, including a cello, four violins, a bassoon, a harp and a Viennese horn to symbolise the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The inscription reads "WIENER PHILHARMONIKER".

The coin contains ½ a troy ounce of 999.9/1000 fine gold which is equivalent to 15.55 grams of 24 karat gold. It measures 28.00 mm in diameter and has a thickness of 1.60 mm. The Vienna Philharmonic bullion coin is also available in weights of 1oz, ¼ oz, 1/10 oz and 1/25 oz in gold and 1oz in fine silver.

The Vienna Philharmonic Gold Coin, known for its high-purity gold and beautiful design celebrating the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, is highly valued by both collectors and investors for its artistic appeal and investment potential.
