With Chinese characters ."Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo" meaning People's Republic of China surrounding it the Hall of Prayers for Abundant Harvest in the Temple of Heaven is shown. The year of issue „1983“is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
One single playful panda. Around the outside rim of the coin around the Panda motif Chinese characters display size ,1, (AU 1 OZ), and purity .99.9%. At the base of the panda the figures 100 and symbol for Yuan are displayed.
