This was the first year that the Gold panda was minted and due to the small number produced it is very collectable. The 1 oz size is made of 99.9 fine gold. Coins issued in brilliant uncirculated quality with different panda design every year.
Minting is carried out by different mints who do not usually employ mint marks. In some future years there will be minor variations in coin design to identify the actual mint. For example, the size of the date and style of the temple.
