Design/Appearance:
Obverse:
The obverse shows the Abundant Harvest Hall in the Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters reading on top, meaning People's Republic of China. The year of issue „1986“ is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
The 1986 Panda motif portraits a walking panda in a bamboo grove. Under the Panda motif the value of 25 Yuan can be read. Above the motif chinese characters display size, 1/4, and metric purity „.999“ and „1/4 OZ Au.“. Below the panda motif is the nominal value of 25 and Chinese sign for Yuan.
