The 2011 China Panda 1/10oz gold coin is the 30th edition of the series. The China Panda gold coin was launched in 1982 and is produced by the People’s Republic of China. The coin consists of 999/1000 fine gold.
Design / appearance
As with all editions, the motif page shows the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, which was built in 1420. The issuing country "People's Republic of China" is engraved in Chinese characters. On the bottom, in the remote edge area, is the year of issue “2011”.
The 2011 design of the 1/10 oz China Panda Gold Coin shows two pandas, a mother with her boy cuddling in front of a bamboo grove. The inscriptions include the nominal value of "50 元", and the weight, the metal and the fineness of "1/10 oz Au.999".
