Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Temple of Heaven Harvest Hall with Chinese characters reading on top meaning “People's Republic of China”. The year of issue “2002“ is shown at the base in large numerals. The wider outer ring continues.
Reverse:
Bamboo forest with a single panda walking through it on all fours. Under the Panda characters display the nominal value 100 and Yuan sign. At the top above the panda are shown characters for size, “¼ oz, Au” and purity “.999”.
