Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Temple of Heaven Harvest Hall is shown in Chinese characters at the top meaning “People's Republic of China”. Since 1982 the design has remained the same. The year of issue “2000“ is shown at the bottom.
Reverse:
A single seated panda is seen holding a bamboo branch. At the panda’s feet the imprint reads the figure “25” and the sign for Yuan. Above the panda near the rim are shown metal “Au”, purity “.999” and size “¼oz”.
