Design/Appearance
Obverse:
The Abundant Harvest Hall in the Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters reading on top. Meaning “People's Republic of China”. The year of issue „1984“ can be read at the bottom.
Reverse:
A seated panda holding a bamboo branch can be seen and to the right of the Panda motif the value of 25 Yuan can be read. Above the motif Chinese characters display size ,1/4, and metric purity „.999“and „1/4 OZ Au.“. Below panda motif is the nominal value of 25 and the Chinese sign for yuan.
