Struck in Wales, the home of the Red Dragon and inspired by the Chinese mythical Dragon, the 2018 two Dragon silver coin features the two Dragons side by side.

Design
The motif side of the coin depicts the Chinese Dragon on the top portion of the coin and the Red Dragon of Wales below. The name of the coin “TWO DRAGONS” is engraved on the top outer edge. Below the Dragons is the fine weight and purity “ONE OUNCE FINE SILVER 999” and the year of issue “2018”. The design was created by Tim Noad.
The value side of the coin shows the Jody Clark effigy of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II with royal crown and earring. The inscriptions around the outer edge are the name of the regent “ELIZABETH II”, the nominal value of “2 POUNDS” and the latin abbreviation “D G REG F D”. The coin edge is reeded and slightly raised which protects the motif from damage.
