Design/Appearance
Obverse:
Showing The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvest within the Temple of Heaven with bright and darkened sky. Chinese characters meaning “People's Republic of China”. The year of issue “2006“ is shown at the base on the wider outer ring in large numbers.
Reverse:
Sitting in a bamboo grove are two adult pandas munching on bamboo shoots. Above the pandas are the characters displaying the value 100 and Yuan sign. Below the seated panda on the rim are characters for size, “¼ oz”, metal “Au” and purity “.999”.
